Immersive technology is transforming the way NUS and ITE Nursing school are learning!
Today, NUS IT showcased VERSE (Virtual Escape Room Simulation-based Education) at the launch of CAVE@NUS, a new immersive learning facility designed to support collaborative learning at scale.
Developed by NUS Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies and NUS IT in partnership with Institute of Technical Education, VERSE uses virtual reality to bring Enrolled Nurse and Registered Nurse students together to communicate, collaborate and make clinical decisions as a team through realistic patient-care scenarios.
From 2027, the programme will be integrated into the nursing curricula of NUS and ITE, benefiting around 700 students annually! 🚀
