Qualtrics

Qualtrics is a web-based survey solution to support teaching, administrative and research at NUS, and it is used by the faculties, students and staff to create and distribute surveys and questions for their projects. It has integrated graphics and statistical tools and has the ability to download data into Excel or SPSS.

Who can use it?

Qualtrics is available to Staff and Students of NUS.

Terms & Conditions:

This service can be used on conditions that the survey owners/creators of survey agree to the following:

  1. The survey owners/creators of the survey will be responsible for the content that they have created. All survey creators must be aware of their responsibility and the need to comply to the various University policies like NUS DMP, AUP etc.  All the creators of the survey must take note that they are required to back up their own content.
  2. The survey owners/creators of the survey must comply with Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and is responsible for asking consent for the collection of personal data and their intended use as dictated by PDPA.
  3. The survey owners/creators of the survey should download the survey data from the cloud after the survey is completed. This will shorten the time data is accessible via the web interface. This will mitigate risks such as the creator’s account being compromised.
  4. The survey owners/creators of the survey should ensure that surveys that are no longer needed should be deleted.
  5. NUS researchers using Qualtrics for their research studies would need to obtain IRB approval before starting.
