Chua Sim Nee

“In school, you are usually given a project that is half-done, but at NUS IT, you learn how to start a full-stack application from scratch and build up a project.”
Jeremy Lim, Yang Zi Yun
Faculty of Engineering, School of Computing
“We learnt technical skills such as Linux admin skills and software such as Docker. We also learned more about HPC architecture and a big part of our project required us to understand the latest techniques in cloud computing.”
Caleb Goh
School of Computing
“I managed to learn more about developing for front-end systems, while still getting the opportunity to innovate in such a mature field. I was able to learn and introduce new ideas that completely shifted the way our project was headed, granting me the liberty and validation of owning the work I had done.”
Ng Jun Hao, Amos Chan
School of Computing, Computer Engineering (Multi-disciplinary Programme)
“We learnt communication skills including presentation skills, email correspondence and how to engage in Zoom meetings. We also learnt server deployment skills when deploying the Flask application, and explored Linux command line and Linux file systems.”
