Viewing the sync status of your files

Viewing the sync status of your files

The synchronization status of a file in your desktop application folder indicates whether the file is being successfully uploaded to nBox. In the desktop application dashboard, you can view information about the synchronization status of your files.

Steps

      1. Start the desktop application.
      2. Right-click on the application icon () in the taskbar.
      3. In the menu, click on Dashboard.
      4. Click on File sync status.
      5. To view the various information about the synchronization status of your files, click on the Current, Recently Completed, Conflicts, and Local Issues tabs at the top of the dashboard:
        • Current — Displays a list of the files that are in the process of being synchronized. A file needs to synchronize with nBox if the file is added to or deleted from nBox, or has been renamed or moved.
        • Recently Completed — Displays the last 10 files to be successfully downloaded from or uploaded to nBox. Files that have been renamed, deleted, or moved do not appear in the Recently Completed page.
        • Conflicts — Displays the files that have a conflict with another file in your nBox account. Conflict occurs when two people try to change a file at the same time. In response, nBox creates two versions of the file.
        • Local issues — Displays the files that could not be added to nBox and the reason why.
