PC Clusters

To give students access to campus network, internet and e-services, abundant personal computer clusters are made available within campus. These clusters can be located in Computer Centre, Computer Based Learning Centre (CBLC) in Libraries and various locations in the Faculties.

In May 2007, Computer Centre launched the ThinkLab – an innovative PC lab designed to enable more efficiency and less downtime through ThinkVantage Technologies (TVTs). The lab aims at facilitating students to See More, Hear More and Worry Less through mainstream enterprise features such as dual-core processing, improved virus protection, and recovery tools. Optimized desktop solutions also allow for fast, easy downloading and data processing resulting in time savings and increased productivity.

Each faculty may also have their own specialized computing resources, please check with your Faculty’s ITU staff.
