EDMS (Enterprise Document Management System)
EDMS (Enterprise Document Management System) is a platform for faculties, departments, and offices to store and manage large volume of active corporate documents for long term archival and easy retrieval. NUS EDMS has been configured with the necessary security mechanism to allow staff to store content up to NUS Confidential data classification.
With NUS EDMS, you can:
- Protect your documents with a strong encryption (AES 256-bit)
- Share all classifications of University data with other NUS staff securely through 2FA authentication.
- Search and retrieve documents and records easily.
- Define how long your documents should be retained.
- Organise and re-organise your documents easily via meta tags.
- Reduce storage space with automatic content compression and by eliminating duplicate and redundant content.
- Provide an audit trail for document access.
- Maintain business continuity with a robust backup and disaster recovery mechanism.
- Store files up to 4GB in size

EDMS is available to Staff and by subscription only.

How do I get it?
Please read through the Getting Started guide on Staff Portal. Once ready, you can subscribe to EDMS by submitting a form in nTouch.
