NUS Data Centre is a 24-hours non-stop high-availability nerve centre for the IT operation and communication backbone for the National University of Singapore. It is purpose-built with advanced temperature and humidity control, fire detection and suppression systems, UPS and standby power generators, access control security system, as well as a diverse routing of communications.

Combined with an access controlled media library that is equipped with an independent temperature and humidity control, NUS Data Centre ensures that critical backups are safely secured and retrieved when needed.

NUS Data Centre also provides the University with a globally connected campus via high-speed network connections to the Singapore Government Network (SGNet) and Internet-II networks in Australia, China, Japan and the United Kingdom. Each day, it serves hundreds of thousands of requests and transactions from students, staff and visitors from all over the world.

Who can use it?

NUS Data Centre is available to Department who wish to co-locate their equipment in NUS Data Centre.

How much does it cost?

The cost for hosting equipment in NUS Data Centre is available on Staff Portal and is only accessible on NUS Network (on Campus or via VPN).

How do I get it?

To host department equipment in NUS Data Centre, you will need to submit a request to Co-location Team. Go to nTouch and search for Server Co-location for instructions.
