FAQ: Miscellaneous

What happens to my notebook if I do not graduate from NUS?
It belongs to you after you have made the relevant repayments to cover or cancel your loan/lease.
What happens to my notebook if I withdraw from NUS?
It belongs to you after you have made the relevant repayments to cover or cancel your loan/lease.
Is there a place I can keep my notebook on campus?
Please take good care of your personal belonging. Pay for an insurance policy for your notebook. And do not leave your notebooks in the lockers (if you have one) overnight.
What if my notebook is stolen or accidentally damaged?
There is nothing NUS can do for you. The notebook is your property. Therefore, it is important that insurance is taken by you to cover fire, theft and accidental damage.

If you leave the notebook in an open place, then purchase a Kensington Lock to securely attach it to the desk. Check with the vendor on the latest pricing.

Can I cancel my orders?
Yes, provided you have not received the notebook. All cancellations must be done in person at the respective vendor support centres. An administrative fee will be charged.
Is there anything else that I need to know?
Yes, read the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) for PnP and Network Etiquette on the use of network resources. (This link can only be accessed within our intranet)
