External Recipients MailTip
If you enter an external email address (i.e. not @nus.edu.sg) when composing an email in Outlook, you will see the following MailTip features:
- A message “These recipients are outside your organization”, displayed.
- The email address, highlighted in aqua.
This is helpful especially when the email contains NUS Confidential or sensitive content not intended for recipients outside NUS. These MailTip features will alert you to check and ensure that you do not send emails meant for internal recipients, out to external parties by mistake. Note that this feature treats the NUS student email (@u.nus.edu) as external parties.
