NUS Information Technology is looking for students to participate in the SailPoint Certification Programme!
As part of the effort to help students keep pace with the demands of the industry, SailPoint is offering an exclusive fully-sponsored opportunity for 30 NUS students to become a certified IdentityNow Professional.
The IdentityNow Professional certification will validate your specialised knowledge and skills in identity management, access control, and governance. As a certified professional, you will be able to contribute significantly to improving an organisation’s security posture.
Course Overview
The SailPoint Certification Programme is an asynchronous e-learning programme with 33.5 hours of self-studying over 6 weeks, allowing you to learn at your own pace at any time and place.
After completing all modules, you will be able to schedule your remote IdentityNow Professional Exam based on your availability to attain certification. Checkpoint calls with SailPoint instructors are also available for you to prepare for your examination.
To encourage students to put in their best effort to prepare for the examination, all students who successfully pass the examination will also receive Amazon vouchers from NUS IT!

Modules
The SailPoint Certification programme consists of 6 eLearning modules.
Module 1: Introduction to Identity Security (0.5hr)
This module provides an overview of identity security and how SailPoint can help govern identities and access. You will be introduced to basic concepts related to identity, identity access management, identity governance and SailPoint Identity Governance services
Module 2: Introduction to Identity Security Cloud (1,5hr)
This module introduces IdentityNow and its access and governance capabilities including Access Request, Certification, Provisioning, and Password Management.
Module 3: Identity Modeling (4.5hr)
This module presents an overview of how IdentityNow works and covers tenant configuration, identity onboarding, and access modeling.

When will I know the result of the selection process?
You will know of the results by 1 Mar 2024.
What happens after I pass the certification examination?
After passing the certification examination, you will become a SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Professional. A digital certification badge verifying your credential will be issued to you and you will be invited to register for the SailPoint Certified directory to connect with other industry experts.
