Apply for interested positions
Submit your applications for the positions in TalentConnect with your CV, Cover Letter and Unofficial Transcript (if necessary).
Attend F2F/virtual interviews
You will be contacted by the Project Supervisor if you are shortlisted for the interview stage.
Attend F2F/virtual interviews with the Project Supervisor and the team where you will be assessed on your fit.Sign Letter of Offer
If you are selected for the position, you will be sent a digital letter with the terms of your internship for your acknowledgement.
Once the document is signed, you will officially be an intern with NUS IT!

Frequently Asked Questions
Will I be given allowance for my internship with NUS IT?
Yes, the NUS IT Internship Programme is a paid internship for students. Students will be given allowance based on their year of study and faculty.
However, CPF contributions are exempted for NUS matriculated students employed for training approved by NUS during the school term and/or school holiday periods. For more information, please refer to the CFG Internship Guidelines for Students.
Can I obtain modular credits for my internship with NUS IT?
NUS IT provides internship opportunities for both credit-bearing and non-credit bearing internships. The type of internship the project is tagged under will be listed in the TalentConnect posting.
If you are keen to apply for a project and obtain modular credits but it is listed as non-credit bearing, you can inform NUS IT to convert the internship type if possible.

I would like to intern part-time at NUS IT during my school term. Is there any opportunity available?
NUS IT will also be offering students opportunities during the school term under SWIFT (Student Workforce @ IT). Opportunities for students will be posted on the NSWS portal when the programme launches in Feb 2024.

I am not from an IT-related course in NUS. Will there be a project suitable for me?
Although majority of the projects undertaken require an IT background, NUS IT has previously engaged students of other faculties (SDE, FASS, FOS, etc) depending on project requirements.
