For the first time ever, we had our High-Performance Computing (HPC) Community of Practice in person since its inception in 2020!
If you have not heard about it, Robotic process automation, or RPA in short, is a software technology that makes it easy to build, deploy, and manage software robots that emulate humans’ actions.
We’ve seen how technological disruptions have been exacerbated by recent crises like COVID-19, which caused shifts in the way people live, study, work and communicate.
Just a couple of weeks back, some 21 of us from NUS IT volunteered their time on a bright and sunny Saturday morning to do some good for the environment and to “bond” with Mother Nature. Together with our Green Campus Unit from University Campus Infrastructure and their contractors, we managed to plant some trees! Go planet!
On the 11th of January, after a considerable time since we had physical events, NUS IT organised a “Digital Enablement Community of Practice” event to celebrate the achievements of our NUS colleagues who took the time and effort to improve their work processes and effectiveness using Digital Enablement (DE) tools.
