Ms Tan Shui-Min, CITO of NUS, has been conferred the Singapore Computer Society Fellowship!

1 Apr 2022

We are proud to announce that our very own Chief Information Technology Officer Ms Tan Shui-Min has been conferred the Singapore Computer Society (SCS) Fellowship!

Congratulations Ms Shui-Min!

This SCS Fellowship is awarded to distinguished individuals who hold senior tech positions and have an established reputation of eminence or authority in the field of technology! As a Fellow of SCS, the individual must have rendered outstanding contributions to the tech industry in Singapore and to the Society.

A very prestigious honour indeed!

The ‘Fellow Conferment Ceremony & Appreciation Dinner’ was held on 25th March at the Amara Hotel to mark this occasion and tech leaders took this opportunity to gather and celebrate each other’s achievements and contributions to the field of technology.

Ms Shui-Min was appointed as NUS CITO in November 2020.  Apart from being our CITO, she is also an executive committee member of the IoT chapter in SCS. Just late last year, she was also honoured on the SCS Singapore 100 Women in Tech List 2021 that accorded recognition to women in tech who displayed resolute dedication and compassion.

“I am honoured to be bestowed SCS Fellowship last night, and especially humbled to receive the conferment from Yoke Sin Chong, whose selfless contribution to the tech industry is exemplary,” commented Ms Shui-Min following the ceremony.

Thank you SCS for according this prestigious recognition to NUS’ CITO Shui-Min!

Organised by the Singapore Computer Society (SCS), this was the 55th SCS Annual General Meeting where a total of 11 veterans were conferred SCS Fellows for their longstanding membership and contributions to the tech industry.
