We raised $5,678 for charity at RunNUS 2021!
06 Oct 2021
On the 26th of September 2021, our NUS IT Management Team embarked on a gruelling and tiring 3km run, under the RunNUS 2021 event hosted by our NUS Students’ Sports Club, to raise funds for the Disabled People’s Association and Singapore Disability Sports Council.
The event was logistically supported by our very own Fun Club (NUS IT’s Staff Welfare Committee) to aid the management team on their journey.
Equipped with their running gear, sunblock, sunglasses and lots of love and support from the entire department, our Management Team led the way to raise $5,678 for charity – way past our original target!
A huge thanks to everybody in NUS IT and kudos to our Management Team! We are so thrilled to have been able to contribute to this meaningful cause.
RunNUS is an annual running event organised by the NUS Students’ Sports Club (NUSSSC) and aims to promote healthy living among the NUS population and the public. Since its inception in 2007, RunNUS has become one of the largest and most anticipated running events for NUS students, staff, alumni and the public.
With the tagline “Run For a Cause”, RunNUS aims to encourage a healthy lifestyle through running and to raise awareness and promote inclusivity of Persons with Disabilities and Special Needs (PWDSNs).
