The founding members of Singapore Advanced Research and Education Network (SingAREN), the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the National University of Singapore (NUS) had jointly launched the first 100 Gbps SingAREN-Lightwave Internet Exchange (SLIX) network which has significantly boosted the international collaborations for Singapore’s research and education community. The new network opens up new possibilities as a Research & Education test-bed and common platform for shared services.
