NUS is the first University in Singapore to deploy IPv6 Internet network protocol to future-proof its network and services for the NUS community and beyond. IP addresses on the first-generation IPv4 protocol are now fully depleted for devices such as smart phones, notebooks, smart TVs and tablets that enable Internet access and device-to-device communication.
