We are faced with constant cybersecurity threats now, many of which result in data and intellectual property being stolen. NUS receives a fair share of these attacks, especially Phishing, in which users are misdirected to a credential harvesting website and asked to enter their login or personal details. It is therefore of paramount importance to increase our awareness on cybersecurity and familiarize ourselves with threats such as phishing, ransomware and digital currency mining. We have been doing this through the conduct of regular phishing drills and security awareness training.

In addition to these initiatives, NUS IT has launched the online cybersecurity awareness training modules listed below from May 2018. This will bring about greater convenience in learning about the subject at your own time and pace.
