If you forgot your password, you can reset the password of the BitLocker thumbdrive. Follow the steps below to reset the password. You need to have the Recovery key file on hand.

1. Insert the BitLocker thumbdrive. You will be prompted the message below. Click on More options.

2. Click on Enter recovery key.

3. At the following screen, enter your BitLocker recovery key. This is the recovery key that you have saved when you setup the BitLocker thumbdrive. Click on Unlock.

4. Your BitLocker thumbdrive is now unlocked. You may proceed to change password using instructions here.
