NUS IT Security is pleased to be a sponsor of the CREATION 2022 event organised by the NUS Student’s Union. IT Security is sponsoring three challenge statements this year for students to design collaterals related to:

• – Phishing
• – Ransomware
• – Business Email Compromise (BEC)

The event will run from 17 January until 25 February 2022. It is open to all undergraduate students, and participation is free. To learn more about the event rules, you may check out the link: https://creation2022.nussucommit.com/rules

The judging criteria are as follows:

1. Technical Excellence (20%)

• • The participants will be assessed based on the difficulty of the design techniques they use in their designs. More advanced and complex techniques will merit higher marks.

2. Creative Merit (20%)

• • The participants will be assessed based on the creativity and innovation

3. Suitability for end-use (30%)

• • The participants will be assessed based on how useful and suitable their design is for usage according to the problem statement./li>

4. Relevance to the theme (30%)

• • The participants will be assessed based on whether the design fits the theme given in the problem statement.

There will be one winning entry for each IT Security challenge statement, and winners will receive an iPad 9^th 256GB.
