Serious vulnerability in Google Chrome browsers (November update)

What has happened?

Google has reported a serious security vulnerability with the Chrome browser, which is being actively exploited by cyber attackers. As this could potentially lead to system compromise and data loss/leakage, we urge you to take action immediately.

Which versions of Google Chrome are affected?
  • Google Chrome on Windows version 107.0.5304.107 or earlier
  • Google Chrome on Mac and Linux version 107.0.5304.110 or earlier
What do I need to do?

Check and ensure you have the latest version of Chrome browser installed. If not, update it immediately by following the instructions below:

  1. Check your browser version via Menu [⋮] -> Help -> About Google Chrome.
  2. Ensure your version is 0.5304.121 or later.
  3. If you are not, select Update Google Chrome, wait for the update to complete and restart your browser.
