Serious vulnerability in Android Operating System (July 2023)

What has happened?

Google has reported serious security vulnerabilities in the Android operating system. These vulnerabilities are actively being exploited by cyber attackers and could potentially lead to system compromise and data loss/leakage.

Which versions of Android are affected?
  • Android operating system version 13 or earlier.
What do I need to do?

Check and ensure that you have the latest version of the Android operating system installed on your devices. If not, update it immediately to the latest version by going to Settings > System > System Update.
