Critical vulnerabilities requiring updates on Apple devices (Dec 2023)

What has happened?

Apple has announced two serious critical software vulnerabilities across the iOS, iPadOS and MacOS platforms. The vulnerabilities are being actively exploited by cyber attackers and could potentially lead to system compromise and data loss/leakage.

iPad Air 3rd generation and later

iPad 6th generation and later

iPad mini 5th generation and later

Earlier than iPad OS version 17.1.2
Safari Browser on macOS Monterey and Ventura Earlier than version 17.1.2
Macs running macOS Sonoma Earlier than version 17.1.2
What do I need to do?

Apple has released patches for these vulnerabilities. Please update your devices immediately.
