The Research Data Centre offers hosting service for researcher’s HPC/AI cluster in the central managed data centre. The objective is to provide a centralised quality data centre space for researchers to consider, therefore save their concern and efforts to build and manage decentralised data centre or server room.

The Research Data Centre will adopt the up-to-date DC technology with basic infrastructure such as racks, electricity supply, cooling, uplink network, rack access/management, CCTV monitor etc. to be available.  It will cater for the special requirements for the HPC/AI servers and/or cluster, for example high power consumption, high cooling capacity, and extremize physical dimensions etc. 

Researchers are allowed to subscribe rack spaces partially (may share with others) or whole rack (dedicated). More details of the subscription catalogue will be available when it is ready.
