High Performance Workspace for Computational Clusters
The High Performance Workspace for Computational Clusters provides the NUS staff and students with access to two high-performance storage areas, /hpctmp and /hpctmp2, each with a default allocation of 500GB. These workspaces, based on NAS and Lustre File Systems, are designed to enhance the data processing performance of computational jobs on HPC systems.
The Utility Storage Service provides a low-cost, large-capacity storage solution strictly for research use, and is ideal for archival purposes as well as for low to medium I/O performance storage needs. The storage volumes are provisioned over the campus network, and therefore, there is no need for any physical connection to client systems, other than the normal Ethernet connection.
