In May 2023, NUS Zoom accounts of all staff/visitors/students were enabled with Single-sign-on.

In May 2023, NUS Zoom accounts of all staff/visitors/students were enabled with Single-sign-on. 

For staff/visitors/students who have previously signed-up for a Zoom personal account using NUS email address, there will be Zoom account conflicts resulting in problems accessing some NUS Zoom Meeting (and/or Phone) services.

Once these personal accounts are terminated, the access will be restored.

To resolve the Zoom account conflict, perform the following steps: 

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the left navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Profile.
  3. You will see this screen.
  4. Click Terminate My Account.
  5. Click Yes to confirm that you would like to terminate your Zoom account. This will permanently delete your Zoom account.
  6. You will be redirected to the Zoom homepage and briefly shown a message that your account termination was successful. 
  7. Wait for at least one hour, then perform next step.
  8. Sign in using SSO.
  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu on the left, click Account Management then Account Profile.
  3. Check the next screen:
    • If you have a Zoom personal account, you will see the screen showing button to “Terminate my account“.
    • However, if you are seeing the screen showing Account Name is National University of Singapore, you are already sign in using Zoom SSO account.
