Since 2018, NUS IT’s internship programme has taken on more than 90 interns  to work on over 60 different projects. In 2022, we engaged 6 interns during our summer internship programme to co-create solutions with our staff to solve real-life problem statements. Our interns also had the opportunity to work with one another, combining their areas of expertise to tackle multidisciplinary problems together. 

One of our past interns, Ms Chua Sim Nee, joined us as a full-time staff this year. Sim Nee had been an NUS IT intern since we established our internship programme and she has contributed significantly to our NUS IT Service Desk. Sim Nee is now a project supervisor herself and has started to take interns under her wing.  We are  heartened that our internship programme has had such a lasting impact on students, so much so that they are now equipped to educate and train others.
